Our Pastor

Pastor Dean H. Watson has a burning heart for the Lord Jesus Christ and a tremendous passion for the dissection and dissemination of the Word of God. Pastor Watson also has a burden for the reformation and spiritual wellness of the Christian Church. Having received his mandate from God, Pastor Watson obediently fulfills his calling as the Senior Pastor of Launch Out Ministries.

Pastor Watson was literally rescued from the jaws of destruction by the hand of God while living a life laden with debauchery. God’s love has taken captive the heart of him on February 5, 1995 and since then God has been changing his heart of stone into a heart of flesh (Eze.11:19) . 

Pastor Dean H. Watson was called into ministry in 1996 under the leadership of Bishop Joseph N. Williams, Senior Pastor of Christ Church International, Jamaica NY. Under the leadership and guidance of Bishop Williams, Pastor Watson was nurtured in his love for God and for His Word. Pastor Watson served as part of the prison ministry, the homeless shelter ministry and as a Sunday school teacher. Pastor Watson also attended the Berean Bible Institute and School of Ministry. Minister Watson has since become a relentless voice which cry aloud and spare not (Isa.58:1), earnestly contending for the faith (Jude 3) against false doctrine, false teachers and false prophets.  

Pastor Watson subsequently became a professor at the Berean Bible Institute and School of Ministry, teaching in the areas of Apologetics; the Book of Hebrews; the Book of John; the Book of Acts; Hermeneutics and the Authority of the Believer. 

Pastor Watson was also the founder and Executive Director of LaunchOut Reformational Ministries, inc.; a ministry dedicated to the reformation of the Christian Church back to Biblical principles.  Pastor Watson currently serves under the mentorship and guidance of Bishop Leon Jackson of The First Born Church of The Living God, Inc.  

Pastor Watson lives his life under the principle of I Corinthians 9:26-27 “I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beat the air:  But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.” 

Pastor Watson is a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served in Operation Desert Storm. Pastor Watson holds an Associate Degree in Communications from Manhattan Community College and a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice from American Intercontinental University. Pastor Watson also mentors men in reaching their full potential in the Lord. 

Pastor Watson is married to a dynamic woman, Monifa K. Watson and they have three children Dean (Khi), Devon and Mekayla.
